I chose this model infant seat because it is really lightweight. It weighs merely 7lbs (without the base and the baby). EPS foam lines the seat in-between the plastic and fabric that the infant sits on. The fabrics clean easily and come in colors that I wanted - black, and orange/beige accent color. There is a super soft velvet fabric that comes in beige. It has a foot cover that is removable which is great for those winter months or for visiting the park. Shoulder straps covers as well as the head support are removable. This is great for throwing into the washer. The removable canopy is a bit flimsy, but comes with a top peephole so you can keep an eye on baby. It took my husband just 5 minutes to install the base after reading the clear instructions. All in all, I like the car seat and recommend it to all my friends.

When I had my baby shower two years ago, I was lucky enough to get my 2008 model as a gift. I was able to assemble it myself quite easily. I have been regularly using it ever since then. I normally jog about ten to twelve miles every week, and I am happy to say that it is still working like new. I enjoy jogging up quite a few hills, and I must say the jogger would maneuver a lot easier if it had a useful hand break. It works equally well in the countryside as it does in town, on the beach and even on camping. The snap and go car seat was really great for my son when he was smaller, and now that I have another baby this car seat is still working well. We are now on the lookout for a nifty double jogger that I can use, but for now I am using this jogger while hubby watches our other son.

We began looking around for a new carseat because our baby of 5 months was starting to feel confined in the baby seat. Carrying him around was getting FAR too heavy! I had my eyes set on a Britax because of all the great things I’ve heard about them, but like a lot of people have commented, they are unfortunately very expensive! I worryingly thought that our son would still be too small for the bigger seat, but I thought I would try it anyway. Our son can now see out of the window and loves it and easily falls asleep when we go out with him. He often cried before when he was in our car, but is now quite content while in his seat and looks around. We are really happy about switching to this carseat, and our son will be able to use it for many more years - up until he weighs 50 pounds!

I just love the design and color of this car seat, and I find it quite gender neutral. It would work just as well for a boy or a girl. It definitely works for my daughter. The price of the car seat is fab as well. The base for the car seat is also included, which I was very happy about. I honestly thought I would have to purchase it separately. The adjuster for the straps is nice and accessible, and the seat doesn’t have to be flipped over to tighten or loosen the straps. You can do this with baby in the car seat just by loosening or pulling the strap by your baby’s feet. One complaint would be the visor. It’s quite difficult to pull down or up.

This seat also snaps into my Jeep Liberty stroller.

It took my husband and I forever to look for a stroller. We went through several of them before turning to the Chicco Cortina KeyFit 30 Travel System. The biggest reason we decided to go this route was because of the way it folded up. The majority of the strollers out there will fold down to the ground, but this one folds up. It means no bending down to pick anything up, which happens to be extra work for me. Plus you’re able to push it to a destination as opposed to carrying it. It’s the only option that lays flat with a little piece of security. This allows your baby to sleep peacefully without sliding down. If you enjoy cup holders it’s nice to know they can be cleaned, and there is a huge opening for the diaper bag. It makes it a lot easier to get things out of the back and everything will fit easily into the stroller.

Britax Roundabout 55 Convertible Car Seat

I’m thrilled to see the Roundabout 55 replacing the older Roundabout 50 model; on the new version of the Roundabout, the sides are larger, especially near the top, which makes me feel that it keeps baby’s head safer. The seat has a soft cover and the Velcro which holds back the straps is perfect, though I wish there was also Velcro holding the strap in the middle, since I find that I often have to pull the strap out from under my baby after I’ve gotten him into the seat.

One thing I really like about the Roundabout 55 is the Versa Tether, since it really adds to the safety of the seat. One drawback about it though is that when you have the seat placed facing the rear, it can be hard to get the baby over the straps and into the seat. It’s not that big of an issue, especially given how much it improves safety and how easy the connectors are to use. I can’t recommend this seat enough.

I haven’t used my stroller and car seat yet, but I already love them. They look just like they did in the picture! I think the pink and brown color combination is way overused, so I didn’t want anything like that. Instead, I wanted something chic and feminine but not baby-ish, and that’s what this system is. I’d recommend it to anyone. In fact, I also bought the matching play yard!

This is a great travel system and I love it because it’s so easy to maneuver. Not only that, it’s easy to fold and unfold even with just one hand. The colors are gorgeous and the fabric is very easy to clean. It also seems to have more padding than other systems.

Britax Frontier 85 Combination Booster Car Seat

We recently bought this car seat after doing a great deal of research on seats for our toddler and concluding that this was the best choice on the market. Now, it did seem as if setting up this seat would be terribly complicated and I was a little worried about being able to even put it together, especially after reading what other buyers had to say about setting it up.

I read the instruction manual right away and after sleeping on it, I decided to take up the challenge and try installing it. Much to my surprise and delight, I found it to be very easy to install. Now it is a bit on the heavy side, though this also means that it’s more durable than many other models on the market. I’m very satisfied with the seat and feel like our son is safe riding in our car in this seat, even here in New York City - which means it’s worth every cent. I would recommend this car seat to anyone.

The first thing I suggest to parents is to find a store that will allow you to actually place your child in the seat before purchasing. Sit your baby in the seat, buckle them in even and make sure it fits them well. My daughter is tall and when I went shopping for a seat, I discovered she had outgrown the particular model I was thinking about purchasing. The Britax Regent had some growing room, so this is the unit I purchased. Here are some pros and cons of this particular car seat.

Pros:

* Installation- installing or changing vehicles is a breeze and getting the seat level is not as much of a problem as I have had in the past with other models.

We searched and researched talking to parents, friends and even manufacturing companies until we were satisfied with a choice, the Companion.

One thing you will hear frequently about these car seats is a complaint about the weight, however we honestly wanted something heavy duty and sturdy for our child’s car seat. This unit attaches simply to the base and is compatible with several different stroller models including the Zooper. I highly recommend this car seat; it is by far one of the best on the market today.
