I have heard that the pack style carriers cause pelvis and hip pain in the baby. I had a Snugli, but it's been replaced by a Maya Wrap, and I would never go back! For me, it was the right combination of easy and adjustable. I can tighten it just the way I need to for my baby, and I have used many positions. My friend loves her Ultimate Baby Wrap, but her baby does droop because the material is stretchy. If you want to carry baby on two shoulders, a wrap is the way to go. I tried a carrier when my oldest was little. I was hard to get on. Hard to get off and hard to nurse a baby in. Slings slip on slip of and are very nursing friendly.
