My friend is interested in natural ways and all I know so far is olive oil is good for babies. I was wondering if anyone knows what are some natural ways for baby care?

I use almond oil to massage my baby and for hair I use coconut oil. Also, you can use almond oil for yourself as well. Almond oil has a natural bleech agent. It gives your skin narishment and shine natural way. You don’t need to use any kind of lotion after that.

Are there any good alternatives to baby carriers and slings?

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

My baby is 3 months old. She always wants to be carried around the house by me. She gets very heavy to carry in one arm while cleaning up with the other. I tried a baby carrier and a baby sling to solve this problem. The problem with that is, she hates being in those things. She cries the minute she is put in one until I take her out of it. Any suggestions?

Get one of those little vibrating chairs. I had a leapfrog one for my daughter that vibrated and had toys and played classical music and lit up different colors. She LOOOVED it, and so did I. You can pop the little one into the chair, and just take it into whatever room you are going to be in. That way baby can watch and be near mama, but not have to actually be ON you all the time. Its great, you can take that time to talk and tell baby what you are doing, and they like to watch everything you do. Those chairs are also fantastic because they often put baby right to sleep. That thing was my extra ME! She especially loved it when I put her up on the counter (away from anything dangerous), while I was cooking. She loved all the smells and sounds and movement. Make it fun!

Any problems or suggestions for baby cribs?

Any problems or suggestions for baby cribs?
I am a furniture designer and I am interested in creating a nursery line. Do you Moms/Dads have any suggestions on how to make my cribs more convenient for you? What would you like to see in the future cribs? Any suggestions?

well for one you do have to comply with the standards in the country regarding the size in between the railings.

I would like it if the mattress was adjustable but the top height was VERY high, because for the first month or two that baby is not going anywhere and some cribs have the highest level too low.

Converting form crib to bed is nice as mentioned.

Made of SOLID NOT CRAPPY WOOD that doesnt leave TEETH MARKS. Keep in mind kids chew on stuff, it is annoying when you invest and your kid chews threw it because the manufactures didnt think to cover the railing with something.

How many baby car seats can you fit in the back seats of a Fiat Grande Punto?

Tuesday, June 30th, 2009

I will be renting a car for my next spring holiday and I have 3 kids age 4 yrs, 2 yrs and 6 months. I can barely fit the car seats in my Zafira and I’m afraid that I will need to rent a big car to accomodate the seats. Thanks for your time!

there are cars you can put 3 baby seats in plus you driving but not anymore 2 in the back, one in front but its not good to have one in the front, i would go with a suv or even something bigger cause after all you need to be safe, good luck.
