Reviews of the Peg Perego Switch Travel System

I wanted a stroller that could be used for a newborn baby and then adjusted to fit a toddler. I got this
system, and it does the job. On top of being adjustable, you can switch it so your baby faces toward you or
faces outwards, which is something not many strollers can do. I like my baby facing me when I'm pushing the
stroller.
The seat is perfect for a newborn because it can recline to a full bassinet style. You can also completely
detach the seat from the stroller. I don't have any complaints about pushing it either, it's easy and the
wheels glide smoothly. I bought mine at Babies R Us, although it didn't really jump out at me until one of
the salespeople there demonstrated how the stroller seat flips and can be fully reclined. The basket under
the stroller has a reasonable amount of storage space for bags and personal items.
The system was so impressive I bought it immediately. The stroller folds and unfolds easily, and it
doesn't take up too much of my car's trunk.
I bought this stroller because someone recommended it to me.
The packing wasn't very good - it came wrapped inside a plastic bag with blue printing, and the stroller arrived
with two blue spots on it. After I cleaned it I got about 90% of the blue spots off.
It looks really comfortable, and it's versatile because it works well with the primo Viaggio car seat. You
can even switch it so your baby faces forward or back!

What a great buy!
Peg Perego strollers are the best, and I bought the Peg Perego SII in 2010. It folds and unfolds very
easily, it doesn't take much space, and it's very lightweight, so it's great for traveling. It's easy to push
and it glides smoothly. The car seat is also good and safe. I had been looking for a good but fairly
inexpensive travel system when I came across the SII. It has everything I was looking for. The "two
revolutionary straps" it comes with are my only problem with it. You need to use them to attach the car seat
to the stroller. Instead of the seat just clicking into the stroller, you have to adjust, fasten and unfasten
these straps each time you put the car seat on or take it off.
The next model up is the Pliko P3 and it costs about $100 more. I'd probably be willing to pay the extra
money just so I didn't have to listen to my husband complain each time he has to deal with those straps!
