I saw this on another website, so I decided to try it for myself.  I know this would work  when I put him in the sling, and my baby fell asleep. This would be a good option for places such as grocery shopping, or for going to the beach, when using any stroller is too impractical.  When I bought this product, I realized that I made the right choice.  The shoulders are nice and roomy.  And, I don't have any pain.  I even think my husband would be able use this product, and he's a big guy.  I don't think that this would hurt him at all.  This is a great product to use on warm days.  We got to test it out when we took our baby to the beach in 80° weather.  When I wore this, I found that I wasn't hot, and it was comfortable to carry my son.

I think this is great for someone who wants this type of a carrier.  The only things to consider is that it does pick up a lot of dust and pet hair.  On the other hand, it is extremely functional.  I feel that when I put my baby inside of it, she's going to be safe.  I felt that I can carry her around for hours on end, and in fact, she fell asleep in it.  This enabled me to even do household tasks, such as laundry without being interrupted by her cries.  You should know that the shoulder straps are padded, so you don't have to worry about being in pain.  Dads can even carry this around with ease.  Having said this, I wouldn't use this facing forward, because you might feel wobbly, and it puts pressure on the pelvis.  But if you want to use is for the back carrying purposes, then this is the way to go.

This is going to be great for someone that has a larger baby as well.  It does offer great support, but I would say that a newborn baby or a younger baby might be overwhelmed by this product.  I should also add that as the baby gets older, they'll want to start touching and grabbing things.  When your baby is in this carrier, it will prevent the child from wanting to reach out and grab everything.  Rather, they won't be able to, which is great for any parent concerns.  So overall, I say after a parent learns how to tie and to carry this in a comfortable way, then they should purchase this product.
