Reviews of the InStep Safari Swivel Double Jogging Stroller

1. I've had the InStep Safari for over two years and it's just as good as the first day I bought it. I have two
children (3 1/2 and 2) and both of them fit perfectly in it. I should probably have a single stroller and make my
3-year old walk, but they're much more controllable in this double stroller. The only problem in 2 years is that
the material has fallen apart, but this was due to my daughter pushing it with her feet to get in and out. However,
I don't expect it to look brand new. It works just the same anyways. Every 3 months I need to inflate the tires as
well or it will get harder to push. When they're inflated it glides through the park or anywhere else I go. A lot
of mothers have asked to try it over the years because it looks so easy. I don't own a car so it has been used
every day, which means it's quite sturdy. It's also been left out in the rain a few times (on accident), been
through sand, dirt, and everything else you could imagine. So one rip due to the way my daughter got out of it and
the rest is like new. If you're considering a double stroller then make sure you get the swivel wheel options.
They're a lot easier to turn.
2. This stroller is unbelievable. It takes corners with ease, glides every time we use it, and simple to
transport from one place to another. It's not nearly as heavy as I thought it would be considering it's a double
stroller, and the rubber wheels make for a much smoother ride.
My daughter loves holding onto the bar and sitting up so she can see everything. Well, until she's too tired and
wants to rest. There haven't been any issues with the seat, so we highly recommend it.
3. When we spent time looking for a regular jogging stroller it seemed evident that we needed something with a
swivel wheel. There were plenty of them out there, but this seemed to be the only one with an affordable price.
I can't say enough about how happy that I own and InStep Safari Swivel. It's very lightweight for its size,
rides smoothly, and has tons of other benefits. The issues I see are that the undercarriage is a bit shallow and
the reclining part is a bit odd, but the pros outweigh the cons easily. The money I saved alone is enough to make
the difference! I would recommend it to anyone.
4. I have two children that are almost 4 and 2. I take them for walks; go to the zoo, parks, malls, and
everywhere else. I originally had the Jeep double stroller, but it was a complete nightmare. It was very hard to
push, extremely long, and just plain awkward. This made me go shop for something that was easier to maneuver.
It turned out that the InStep Safari was great for my needs. I am able to push the stroller with one hand, it's
very smooth riding (even on bumpy grounds), and the seats are more upright. They love it so far, but I believe the
front wheel swivel makes the difference.
If you want negatives I do have some for you. There isn't really a parent console (just a little bag), the
stroller is somewhat cumbersome unless you have a large enough vehicle for it, and the canopy isn't as big as I
hoped. However, you can purchase an extension shade. Even if some minor issues I would still buy this stroller
again.
