1. I chose this model infant seat because it is really lightweight. It weighs merely 7lbs (without the base and the baby). EPS foam lines the seat in-between the plastic and fabric that the infant sits on. The fabrics clean easily and come in colors that I wanted - black, and orange/beige accent color. There is a super soft velvet fabric that comes in beige. It has a foot cover that is removable which is great for those winter months or for visiting the park. Shoulder straps covers as well as the head support are removable. This is great for throwing into the washer. The removable canopy is a bit flimsy, but comes with a top peephole so you can keep an eye on baby. It took my husband just 5 minutes to install the base after reading the clear instructions. All in all, I like the car seat and recommend it to all my friends.

2. The Graco Snugride Infant Car Seat is perfect for your child, and was an excellent choice for my daughter. She was comfortable in it which made my husband and I happy because we knew that she would be safe in it. When it got a little dirty, we simply popped it into the washer and it came out looking like new. The car seat is easy to remove. My daughter is now ready for the next size car seat, but I will keep this one for my next baby. The design and colors can be used for a boy or a girl. I certainly recommend this car seat.

3. I just love this pattern! It suits our little boy perfectly! The car seat feels well made and is very practical. The instructions are easy, and when you set the car seat on the floor it will rock. What a neat feature! With regards the adjustable straps, can't you adjust the straps when the carrier's on the floor? That might be annoying, but nevertheless nothing bad yet to say concerning this car seat.

4. We got this seat for our little daughter twenty five years ago and rather liked it. We didn't experience any problems with it like another reviewer had, so hopefully it was a one-off incident. We fell for the pattern because it wasn't all pink and we didn't want fabric that would show the dirt easily. We wanted darker plastic that would not show scuffs and wear. The navy colored plastic seems to hide this well, and most infant seats that have navy plastic have masculine patterns. That is the combination we wanted.

We trust the Graco seats for both safety and durability. This one was certainly no exception. We are an active family of nearly six and always seem to be busy doing something, and decided to come back to the Graco for our soon-to-be-here baby girl. I still wish we had kept the first car seat and not given it away, but who would have known we would be having another baby!

I would have rather preferred a Z shaped handle than the plain curved one for ergonomics, but nevertheless my husband prefers this shape so I guess it's merely a matter of personal preferences. All in all, there are no complaints. I'm looking forward to being able to use it again.
