Even though Consumer Reports rates Evenflo car seas really well, my husband and I have never really been impressed with their use, they were not exactly easy! Thankfully, it is time for my daughter to graduate from the 40 lb. limit seat she has now and we wanted to find a replacement that would grow as she does, until she no longer needs a safety seat. The Graco Nautilus is the perfect choice!

Before selecting this particular car seat, I took the time to do some research. I was going to need three new car seats, one for my husband's care and mine and an extra for the babysitter. However, I wanted to try out a seat before purchasing the other two.

Pros:

1. To start the seat looks great and feels well made. This car seat is very good-sized, but not too big to fit well in the car. I also noticed that the cup holder and arms are both built well; many seats have flimsy cup holders and weak arms.

2. Versatility is important so I was very happy with the number of internal harness slots and headrest positions, this will allow the car seat to easily grow with my child. Harness adjustments were also easy to access and adjust.

3. Headrest- Graco Nautilus car seats offer a headrest with "wings" which will give older children something to rest their heads on while napping.

4. The harness is very nice as well, it is well made, buckles and unbuckles easily. There is also bonus padding on the top of the harness, something you are not going to find on other seats.

5. Installation- a car seat can be fantastic, but strike out when it comes to installation. Graco Nautilus seats are simple to install, easy to tighten and once installed in your car they will not move an inch!

Overall, this car seat gets two thumbs up; I am very happy with the purchase and even more impressed with the price.

We use the Graco Nautilus for both our five year old and our two year old. We are more than satisfied with the seats and so are the children. They seem to have plenty of room and are quite comfortable. Since introduced to the brand about two years ago we have always had at least one on hand. The cover is sturdy and holds up well to washing, (it has been through the washer several times!) Graco has developed a very sturdy yet comfortable seat that our children and we are happy with; I especially love the five-point harness.

We started with the Graco infant carrier and then graduated to the Graco convertible; my little boy is rather big for one and a half so he grew out of the first two quickly. The Nautilus is a fantastic option for my son, the wings are great since he loves to sleep in the car and the seat is big enough that he fits comfortably. With all the different adjustments available on the Graco Nautilus, it is sure to grow with him! Not only does the headrest adjust for height, there is also a foot you can move in or out for more of a recline. Sippy cups fit well in the cup holder and is a nice addition. You can easily adjust the straps with the simple to use button and these buckles are definitely heavy duty. We love this seat and so does our son! I would highly recommend this car seat, I paid approximately $120 for this seat, which is cheaper than most quality car seats.
