To begin with, we went to Babies R Us looking for Babi Italia cribs.  This crib is manufactured by La Jobi, but for much  less money.  We eventually purchased the crib, changing table and mattress for about $185.  We were able to get it shipped to our home in less than a week for only ten dollars.

I read the reviews that claimed that there were scratches and that it was difficult to assemble, but I did not have this problem.  The only suggestion that I would have to make things run smoother is to use a screwdriver that has interchangeable bits and and use a allen head bit to help with the numerous screws.

In total, my wife and I took about forty five minutes to assemble the bed and changing table.

In  terms of quality, it appears to be very sturdy like the Babi Italia cribs or other expensive cribs and a lot more sturdier than the Graco Sarah Lauren cribs that were similarly priced.  Keep in mind that the  Europa Baby crib is priced at $115.  I really do not like WalMart and took a risk because I did not see it first, but I am happy.

The finish that we picked out was espresso, which looks wonderful.  It goes well with a dark wood dresser that we already owned.  It is very dark and has a little bit of red in it.  The baby is not due until a few months from now, but we will let you know how things go once we have had a time to use it.  But for now, it looks wonderful.

We got the Europa Baby Geneva crib yesterday and we really like it. I was so worried about getting the correct crib, but we would suggest getting this crib.  The packaging was ideal. Each piece was wrapped in individual packages and there were no dents or scratches. The guidelines for assembly were not that hard to follow and my husband and I assembled it in under sixty minutes. It is very strong and constructed with premium wood selections.  It does have a little store bought smell just like some of the reviews claimed, but hopefully, that will fade away.  We liked the crib so much that we also got the changing table.

Me and my husband are first time parents and purchasing online nursery furniture was intimidating for us. When this crib was purchased we were very happy with how simple it was to assemble. It only required about forty five minutes of our time. The crib did not have any missing pieces or damaged in any form or way.  When the crib was completely finished, it was very strong and we feel okay to put our baby in there in the coming months.

This was packed very well in foam and came without being damaged in terms of the crib, but there were some scratches on the outside of the cardboard box. I love the fact that Amazon provides free shipping and it comes right to my door. I do not have to worry about time and gas.

Putting the bed together goes very fast.  I decided to utilize the hex head bit with my handheld drill, which made things flow smoothly. Keep in mind that a few of the bolt locations made the drill difficult to handle, however, it worked fine with an extension.

The drill tightened all of the connections.

Did not have assembly instructions, but they were easy to get  online in the pdf format for the Baby Europa website.

All in all, I think that his is a high quality bed that appears to be sturdy and robust once it is assembled.  It has a very strong mothball smell. Maybe this has something to do with the fact that it is shipping from China? But the smell is gradually going away. Little finn is not arriving until August, so we have a lot of time to get rid of the smell. This is a good crib and for a good price in my opinion. Happy buying!
