DaVinci Annabelle Crib Customer Reviews

After researching for days to find the best portable crib, I chose the DaVinci Annabelle for 2
reasons:
1. I am very happy with the DaVinci Anastasia crib that I currently have, and
2. It is a reasonably priced bed.
I looked at the collapsible cribs in stores and didn't feel as though any of them were sturdy
enough to hold a baby. I purchased this crib for an extended stay at my grandparents' house. The baby slept
wonderfully!
I recommend that you use this crib with a breathable baby bumper because it will fit great. Also,
use the DaVinci coil mattress because it is very comfortable for the baby and comparable to full size crib
mattresses.
You should know that the baby will probably outgrow this crib quickly. I used this crib for my son
when he was 5 months old and he is average size. He fit well in it then, but I think it will only work for one more
trip and then it will need to be used as a regular bed.
Wonderful purchase and I definitely recommend it.
I put this crib together by myself when it arrived. I am 6 months pregnant so I took my time
getting it assembled. I really love the dark look of the espresso wood. It took almost an hour and a half of
assembling it before I realized I was missing 3 screws. I will have to contact the company by email or postal mail
since they don't give a telephone number in their owner's manual. For what I paid, the crib was worth the money,
but the mattress that is provided is junk because it can't be used. Instead of adding in a cheap mattress they
should use the money to make a better quality product. The mattress is very thin so I will have to go back out and
purchase one that will work for my baby. The wood came with a few dents but I will use a touch up marker to cover
them. The side does not slide so you should keep it in the highest position while your baby is still a newborn so
you can easily get him in and out.
Overall, it is a decent baby bed.
Pros:
Beautiful look
Sturdy
Adjustable levels for mattress
Cons:
Missing parts
No contact number for company
Wood scratches easily
Cheap mattress
We were a bit low on space in our small bungalow, but this crib works wonderfully here! It was
fairly easy to put together and I really love the look. It is definitely not a huge, fancy crib but when you are
living in a tight space, what does it matter? It's also light and can be moved if we need to make more room when
visitors are here.
My 18 month old son is in the eightieth percentile for his height and he still fits in this crib
comfortably. So, it should definitely work for your baby for a long while! It is the only mini crib I can find that
converts to a twin bed, though you will have to buy the rails separately.
The reason it isn't a great crib is because the mattress included is awful, but it's simple to find
a new one that will work for about $30.
