Reviews of the Britax Advocate 70 CS Convertible Car Seat

1. I just cannot stop raving about this car seat! It is probably the most sophisticated car seat with the most
seat safety features around today. The clicking sound that you hear when the belt is tightened is an absolute time
saver. You just know that your child will be safe and not become strangled.
I don't really want to write too much about it as there has been a lot said from other people. Take note of all
the features, though. If you know that you can afford it, then you know that you should buy it. I just love this
Advocate model compared to its predecessors, and my daughter of 15 months will agree. The pink outfits she wears
look great with the black and dark gray look of the chair. This chair is less bulky, and it also has three extra
safety features.
2. I have been a nanny for quite a few years now, and tried out quite a few carseats as well. I just LOVE
Britax! They really feel secure, and there is a tether that can be used while the seat is rear facing. My daughter
uses one and I honestly feel that it has been worth every single penny as far as her safety is concerned. Britax
has always been known to go all out in testing the safety of their car seats, and it really shows. There is a
drawback in that installation is a bit cumbersome if it has to be done frequently, but for the safety of a child I
really don't mind. Diapers.com has the best prices and they also offer free shipping and no tax. Plus, with their
code BAIL2798 you get a 15% discount with the first order of yours!
3. This is my second car seat. My first car seat was the Orbitbaby. Safety features with the Britax carseat are
quite impressive. The height of the seat can even be adjusted. There is a click sound that I like which indicates
the correct tightness. My only concern is how I would manage it on a flight. This bulky car seat would be too heavy
to carry by myself. Orbitbaby would be necessary for this.
It is quite inconvenient when the tether which is recommended for you to use is at the back and the seat's rear
facing. I'm still wondering if it does anything. I just use it because they say it's safer. The chair had to be
adjusted at inspection because we had eyed it incorrectly. You must eye to make sure the incline is OK, unlike
Orbitbaby. The best thing is to always have your chair properly inspected.
4. It took some time to install; nevertheless, this car seat is great. My baby of 7 months likes it, and I
really like all the features and that reassuringly audible ‘click' that tells us the belt's tight enough. Getting
him inside is a little tricky as it is still rear facing and there isn't too much space to be able to lean in to
get him nicely situated. Once he's in though, it's fine. It looks good with the black interior of our Audi.
5. We still have an older model Britax Diplomat, and bought this model to put in our 2nd car. This new Advocate
is a smart update in the Britax carseat line. The base used to have white plastic but is now at least steel and
black plastic. The base feels a bit more stable and is smaller, and the build quality overall is better.
