1. Since my wife and I are both avid runner we needed something that was even to maneuver our one year old
daughter. It also had to be an extremely safe and comfortable ride, which is why we got the BOB Ironman stroller.
We've had this thing on the blacktop, through grassy parks, and even on gravel. It has these huge tires and shocks
that keep it a smooth ride for the wee-one. A couple weeks ago my wife took her to a blueberry picking farm and she
said it still glided through the bumpy and sandy soil. This has definitely replaced our other stroller system,
especially for trips to the grocery store. If the fabric gets dirty you can wipe it off and the storage area has a
nice size to it. There are also compartments by the handlebar. We use them to put our cell phones and car keys in
them, as well as a couple water bottles. Oh, and the baby bottle! The one we purchased comes with a yellow color
that is sharp and easy to spot, even in a wooded area. So when we're running at different speeds there is never a
worry about losing them or vice versa. We consider it to be a great safety feature. It also comes with an oversized
sunshade that is absolutely huge. When you use the harness system it's a complete breeze, and it's well padded. My
daughter absolutely loves it and you can tell that it's comfortable since she falls asleep in it even when we're
running. Her view is unobstructed and when the run is over my wife can even toss it in the back of her SUV since
it's very lightweight. It doesn't take up a lot of room either. We would recommend the BOB Ironman to anyone!
2. I purchased the BOB Ironman stroller in order to continue my marathon training. Obviously with a child you
can't just leave the house, so finding something to take him with me was important. It's been a huge help,
especially since I do about 40 miles a week.
I've only had it for about a month, but it's been wonderful to this point. I soon realized that you don't even
feel like you're pushing it at all. All I have to do is put my 18lb son in it, a couple bottles of water, the
changing pad, a few diapers, wallet, car keys, cell phone, and away we go. The funny thing is that it doesn't look
like it's stuffed either.
I can't speak enough about the overall durability. I've ran about 50 miles so far and it still looks brand new.
The longest run I've had is 16 miles and I timed it with and without the stroller. It really wasn't that much
harder. I was around a 6:30 mile pace without feeling out of control and can steer it with one hand. A 90 degree
turn is about an 8:00 mile pace without breaking my stride. I know a lot of people can't even do that without a
stroller!
I will say that it's a bit bulky in my car, so if you have a small car it's going to take up most of your trunk.
If you have an SUV then probably half of the back will be taken up. However, I can't imagine that too many
competitors were any better that come with all the benefits.
My main goal was finding something that offered great performance. This is by far the best, so I have to
recommend it.
3. We've been through tons of jogging strollers because my wife and I are both diehard runners. So it was
crucial that we find something that can withstand a fast pace. The Ironman is a smooth and lightweight stroller
that is perfect for what we need. If you're a jogger then we suggest you consider this one.
